What drives your actual bill

On a California move of 100 miles or less, hourly billing includes loading, unloading and double the drive time between the two addresses, rounded to the quarter hour. Minimums must be written on your agreement. Stairs, long carries, packing services and valuation coverage all add cost. The best protection is a written not-to-exceed price based on an in-person or video survey.
